Mr. Varn O. Burton was an advocate for higher education. He believed in pushing others to reached their highest potential. He was a graduate of Prairie View A&M University and through his unwavering support, all three of his children attained their college degrees. In an effort to honor his legacy the V.O. Burton Foundation Scholarship has been established.
